[Illiad] END OF THE SID-CANCER STORY ARC, START OF ANOTHER HIATUS
Posted:Wed Nov 25 18:06:57 2009
I've just finished writing the last panels of the Sid cancer story arc. The final 'toon of that arc will appear November 30, five days from now.
I'm going on a "random and indeterminate" hiatus. If you want to know why, there's a longer explanation here. If you don't care, let me sum up: The hiatus is random because I'll be inserting cartoons here and there as I can, and it's indeterminate because I don't know for how long it will be.
Either way, my desire to tell stories via UF has not diminished in the least, but I have a different set of priorities for now. So I'll be back, hopefully in a few months or so. Thanks everyone!

[mekkanik_mike] Anti-spam drive now in progress...
Posted:Mon Nov 16 04:28:30 2009
Due to the sheer number of spam showing up in the ARS system, we have decided to clean it out. The first phase is already under way with more than 2000 diaries containing spam in the top level content cleaned out. The corresponding users have been disabled. However, I suspect that I have also taken out about six to eight legit ones. So if a) you have created your account after 1st Sep 2009, and b) your diary did not have any posts, you may see that your account has been disabled as a spammer. That being the case, please email activemods at this domain to get your account reenabled.
Thanks,
Mekkanik Mike.
